MAYURA - Symbol of Pride

The colour red is considered auspicious as it represents Mother Durga. A woman wearing red is believed to reflect Mother Durga as the inner strength of every woman. Red is also the colour of prosperity and fertility.
Our next featured saree is of a Chilli Red with a long gold jari border. The border design is alternated with the elephant which is considered to be an  auspicious animal and related to royalty as well as the graceful and elegant Annam.
When u own a Kanjivaram, do realise the intricacy of the designs and the story the weaver has woven into these sarees.
Wear them with Pride 💕

Colour : Chilli Red with gold jari border and munthani
Blouse : Plain with gold jari border

There may be slight colour variation due to digital photography
